Sean and his team enjoyed a quick double at the Vaal on Tuesday, with both the unbeaten Paisley Park and Willow Magic filly Dubawi Princess landing their respective heats. Both Tarry runners were ridden to victory by Lyle Hewitson.

Winner of the Listed Secretariat Stakes on his previous start, the Klawervlei Stud bred Paisley Park made it three wins from three starts on Tuesday, but had to withstand an objection to do so.

The gelded son of Gimmethegreenlight fought a thrilling duel with Vars Vicky to land the spoils in a graduation plate over 1400m on Tuesday.

Paisley Park, who is from the same family as Golden Apple and her July winning son Pomodoro, is out of the former Tarry trained runner Eva Tibbs. The gelding races for Sean Tarry Racing (Pty) Ltd in partnership with Cliff Simaam.

Sean's second success on Tuesday came when 3yo filly Dubawi Princess produced a fine turn of foot to get up and win the eighth race on the card. From the first crop of her Tarry trained sire Willow Magic, Dubawi Princess claimed her second career win with a long head win, while getting up in the shadow of the post.
Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Dubawi Princess races for Messrs M A Currie, C N Francis, B G Gardner, Jarryd Lahoud, Allan F Peters, Larry Pogir, Craig Zoghby, Mrs BMA Lahoud & Sean Tarry Racing (Pty) Ltd.
