Molleloa, Silvez score at the Vaal

Author: admin

The Tarry yard enjoyed yet another mid-week double when both Molleloa and Silvez won at the Vaal on Tuesday.
Molleloa, well ridden by Siyabulela Eighteen, ran on to break his maiden in Tuesday’s first event, a workriders maiden plate over 1600m.

The Querari gelding, who was given a fine ride by Siyabulela, scored a neck win for owner Nchakha Moloi and breeder Peter de Beyer. It was just a second racetrack outing for Molleloa, who is out of the Silvano mare Julila.

Silvez, who is entered in the upcoming Super Sale, was rewarded for consistency when romping to a facile three and a half length maiden win under log leading rider Lyle Hewitson.
Owned by Chris Van Niekerk, the Seventh Rock 3yo filly appeared to enjoy the 1600m trip of Tuesday’s race having been narrowly beaten at her previous outing.

Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Silvez was produced by the National Emblem mare Argent.
