Tuesday double for Tarry

Seanís great run of form continued on the Turffontein Standside course on Tuesday, when the Tarry yard sent out two more winners (from just three runners on the card) Ėwith Vida Es Bella and Aurora Australis winning their respective races.

Both horses were booted home by Lyle Hewitson, with the recent Summer Cup winning rider riding out of his skin at the moment.

Narrowly beaten on her first two starts, the 3yo Duke Of Marmalade filly Vida Es Bella was all the rage to break her maiden in the first race over 1160m on Tuesday.
The 13-10 tote favourite duly did so, with the Lammerskraal Stud owned Vida Es Bella scoring a comfortable one and three quarter length success.

Bred by the Northfields Stud, the well related Vida Es Bella is out of the stakes winning Medaglia DíOro mare Mina Salaam Ėa half-sister to G1 Premierís Champions Challenge winner Deo Juvente.

Seanís second success on Tuesday came when the gelded Aurora Australis justified favouritism with a staying on one length victory in the fifth race on the card.

It was a second victory for the Chris Van Niekerk owned gelding, who numbers ill-fated CTS Million Dollar winner Illuminator as a half-brother.

Aurora Australis, a son of Judpot, was bred by the Klawervlei Stud.
