Skitt Skizzle filly impresses on debut

Author: admin

The former Tarry trained Skitt Skizzle was responsible for a highly impressive debut winner at Turffontein on Saturday when his three-year-old daughter Tropic Sun romped home impressively.

Under jockey Raymond Danielson, the Klawervlei Stud bred filly blew her rivals away when posting an emphatic 5.25 length win over 1160 metres.
Despite being green, and a bit slow away, Tropic Sun put up a very impressive performance on Saturday.

Tropic Sun is owned by Chris Van Niekerk, who was also involved in Skitt Skizzle.

The latter, who is bred on the same Jet Master/Northern Guest cross as July winner and promising sire Pomodoro, was rated very highly by Sean, who described Tropic Sun as one for the notebooks.

Skitt Skizzle has only had a handful of runners, but the Bosworth Farm Stud based horse is also the sire of Secretariat Stakes winner Cordillera.
