Bolt makes a bold showing

Author: admin

Gelding appears to have done the trick for the progressive looking Mythical Bolt, who romped home in fine style at the Vaal on Tuesday.
The Eenfontein Stud bred four-year-old had shown good potential early in his career, but it took the unkindest cut of all to get Mythical Bolt into the winners enclosure once again.

Under jockey Raymond Danielson, who has been riding out of his skin lately, Mythical Bolt dominated his field to score a facile three length win in a graduation plate over 1000m.
Runner up to G1 winner Van Halen last time out, the son of Captain Al may not have beaten the strongest field around but there was plenty to like about the style of Mythical Bolt’s win, and hopefully he can build on Tuesday’s triumph.

Out of a full-sister to the former Tarry trained champion Mythical Flight, Mythical Bolt races for owners Bryn Ressell, Marsh Shirtliff and Chris Van Niekerk, and the trio’s patience with this promising four-year-old will hopefully be rewarded even further in coming months.
