3 in a row for Skitt Skizzle son

Author: admin

Seanís former talented charge Skitt Skizzle supplied the Tarry yard with a smart winner on Thursday when his consistent son Tierra Del Fuego won a competitive looking pinnacle stakes over 1400m at the Vaal racecourse.

Under Raymond Danielson, the four-year-old colt was always handy and hit the front with 200m left to go before holding off to best stable mate Social Order by a neck.

Both Tierra Del Fuego and Social Order are owned by Seanís stalwart supporter Chris Van Niekerk.
Bred by Bosworth Farm Stud, four-year-old Tierra Del Fuego has now won three in a row, and four of 11 starts overall.

It was a good effort from Tierra Del Fuego, who was not suited by the early slow pace in Thursdayís run, and there should be more to come from him.

His sire Skitt Skizzle has done very little wrong in his stud career despite being represented by only a handful of runners.
To date, the son of Jet Master, and half-brother to G1 winner Zeeno, has had just ten runners, but they include not only Tierra Del Fuego but also Secretariat Stakes winning filly Cordillera.
