Double for Skitt Skizzle

Author: admin

Former Tarry charge Skitt Skizzle provided Sean with a memorable double on Tuesday when his offspring Cordillera and Ice Lord won at the Vaal in smart fashion.
Tuesday's first race was also a memorable one for Sean's stalwart owner Chris Van Niekerk, with Chris owning the first three past the post (Chris races Rock The Globe in partnership with the Sham family and Pure State with Wehann Smith).

Former Secretariat Stakes winner Cordillera stamped her Grand Heritage ticket when the four-year-old daughter of Skitt Skizzle stayed on nicely to beat her recently gelded stablemate Rock The Globe into second place in a graduation plate, with fellow Tarry runner Pure State taking third spot.

Ridden to victory by Raymond Danielson, the Bosworth Farm Stud bred filly has now won three times.

Ice Lord provided Skitt Skizzle, Chris Van Niekerk and the Tarry yard with a memorable double when he ran on nicely, under jockey Raymond Danielson, to land Tuesday's sixth race in taking fashion.

Also bred by Bosworth, the gelding is now unbeaten from two official races and Ice Lord looks set to go from strength to strength.

Clearly Jet Master's son Skitt Skizzle is a sire deserving of more support!
