Browning Rolls Dyce

The Tarry-trained Mrs Browning put up a smart performance to make it back-to-back wins when she won at Turffontein on Saturday.

Winner of the G3 Joburg Tourism Carry On Alice Stakes last time out, four-year-old Mrs Browning made the most of her lightweight (she was receiving 11.5kgs from the favoured Dyce) when she landed Saturday's 4Racing Wishes You Prosperous New Year Pinnacle Stakes over 1160 metres.

Ridden for the first time by Philasande Mxoli, Mrs Browning came with a strong late run which saw her storm home to score by a length, while taking her tally of wins to five from 12 starts.

Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, the filly races for Jarryd & Laurence Wernars, Harry Wilson and the Hyperpaint Syndicate.

Mrs Browning, who is sure to be a valuable broodmare when she retires to stud, is a daughter of Rafeef and the Galileo mare Miss Galidora, which makes the filly a full-sister to 2022 G1 World Sports Betting SA Derby winner Aragosta.
