Rodeo Romps Home
The Tarry yard sent out two-year-old Rodeo Drive to win impressively at the Vaal on Thursday.
Ridden by Craig Zackey, who has a fine strike rate when riding for Sean, Rodeo Drive kicked on 150m from home and drew off to win by four lengths.
Bred by James Armitage, the filly had been unlucky last time out when hanging badly.
Rodeo Drive caught the eye on debut when finishing second, behind subsequent G3 TAB Pretty Polly Stakes winner Simply Majestic, and she looks to have a bright future.
The filly, one of two winners on Thursday for her G1-winning sire, The United States, is out of Listed Stormsvlei Mile winner Crystal Cavern.
Well done to Haraka Bloodstock, a syndicate that is going from strength to strength. Haraka has a number of lovely horses in training with Sean, and they will be back in the winners enclosure soon.
