Lad Shows His Class
Sean Tarry Racing followed up a good day at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday by sending out the top-class colt Lucky Lad to win at Turffontein on Sunday.
Winner of the G1 Gold Medallion at two and the G1 Golden Horse Sprint at three, Lucky Lad defied 62kgs when he won the For Hospitality Bookings Call 011 681 1796 Pinnacle Stakes.
Under regular rider Richard Fourie, Lucky Lad raced towards the back of the field early on before storming home down the centre of the track.
The colt showed plenty of courage to hold off runner-up Captain Hindsight and win by a head. It was a smart effort from Lucky Lad, who was conceding Captain Hindsight 6kgs.

A son of reigning champion sire Gimmethegreenlight, Lucky Lad will run next at Hollywoodbets Greyville at the end of the month.
