Turbo Powers Home

Fresh off landing a pair of feature races at Turffontein on Saturday, the Tarry yard struck again when Sean's charge Turbo Power ran on strongly to score at the Vaal on Tuesday.

Under an inspired ride from Donald Geerthsen, the four-year-old ran on strongly, when splitting runners, and got up to win by a length.

The fitting of blinkers and a drop back in trip appeared to help the Klawervlei Stud bred Turbo Power, with the gelding having raced over 1600 metres in his last two starts.

Owned by Sean Tarry Racing (Pty) Ltd, four-year-old Turbo Power has now won twice from just six starts.

Tuesday's winner is a son of Twice Over and the Tarry-trained G3 Acacia Handicap winner Off The Mark.
